Built Up Flat Roofing
Due to the slow breakdown of a felt roof, leaking water can often cause structural damage before the problem can be visibly detected. Look for signs of cracking around the edges, pipes, up-stand and roof lights etc. Beware of blisters on the roof surfaces they will eventually become brittle and crack. It is important to note insurers will not pay for any external or internal damage caused by a leaking flat roof.
